SUBJECT:         Call for Nominations

The Elections Committee of FFECC requests nominations for the following positions:

 

A representative shall be elected for every forty (40) members or fraction thereof, in each division as Divisional Representatives. – Membership by campus and division.  These positions are elected for a three (3) year term, and are as follow:

1 City - Bus/Public SVS/Tech/Health Science 

1 South - Bus/Public VS/Tech/Health Science 

1 North - Bus/Public SVS 

1 North – Tech 

1 North – Health Science 

1 City - Liberal Arts 

1 South - Liberal Arts 

2 North - Liberal Arts 

1 NTP College-wide 

2 NTTP College-wide 

3 PT Teaching 

2 PT non-teaching

*These representatives also hold position on the Executive Council.

 

Four (4) representatives needed for the College Reappointments Committee -  Seven (7) members required.  At least two (2) representatives from each campus is needed.  Four (4) of these positions are elected to one (1) year terms; the other three shall be elected for two (2) year terms, with one (1) from each campus.

 

Seven (7) representatives for the College Leaves Committee -At least one (1) representative from each campus is needed. This term is for one (1) year.

 

Three (3) Campus Vice Presidents- One representative from each campus to be elected. This position is for a three (3) year term.

 

Secretary- One representative from the college at large will be elected.  This position is for a three (3) year term.

 

Treasurer- One representative from the college at large will be elected.  This position is for a three (3) year term.    

 

***Individuals interested in serving in these positions should notify the Elections Committee member on your campus no later than Tuesday March 1, 2017.  Please be aware that Recess is from February 20, 2017 to February 25, 2017.  If you would like to nominate an individual, you must confirm that individual is willing to serve.   Current office holders must re-nominate.  Self-nominations are allowed in order to be on the ballot, or the term will end at the end of this academic year.  Please do not submit a nomination without that person’s approval.  Nominees for the Vice Presidents, Secretary, and Treasurer must be tenured faculty members.
